Equipment Maintenance System - Staff User Guide
1Open the app in your browser or on your phone
2Enter your username and password
3Tap Login to access the dashboard
After logging in, you'll see the main dashboard with:
Tap Equipment Maintenance to start managing equipment and tasks.
The Equipment Maintenance screen has two main areas:
Each equipment card displays:
Use the search bar at the top to quickly find equipment:
1Tap the search bar
2Type the equipment name or brand
3Results filter automatically as you type
1Tap the Add Equipment button
2Fill in the required fields in the popup:
3Add a photo:
4Tap Add Equipment to save
1Find the equipment card you want to edit
2Tap the Edit button on the card
3Update any fields (name, brand, type, notes, photo)
4Tap Save Changes
1Find the equipment card
2Tap the Delete button
3Confirm by tapping Delete in the popup
Each task has a status to track progress:
1Tap the Tasks button on any equipment card
2The tasks screen will open showing all tasks for that equipment
1Open the tasks screen for an equipment
2Tap Add Task tab
3Fill in the task details:
4Tap Add Task
1Find the task in the list
2Tap the Edit button
3Update the task name, assigned person, status, or notes
4Tap Save Changes
1Find the task you want to remove
2Tap the Remove button next to it
Tap the Back button at the top to return to the equipment list.
On the Equipment Maintenance screen, you'll see a Task Overview panel showing:
1Use the All People dropdown to see tasks assigned to a specific person
2Use the All Statuses dropdown to filter by Pending, In Progress, or Completed
You can edit any task directly from the Task Overview or Task Management page:
1Find the task in the list
2Tap anywhere on the task card
3The Edit Task popup will open
4Update details and tap Save Changes
For a larger view with more details:
1Tap View All Tasks in the Task Overview panel
2This opens the full Task Management page with the same filters and a detailed task list
3Tap any task to edit it directly
